At MEM we pride ourselves on our ability to look beyond the obvious. Too often a designer cannot get beyond the first idea. There are always alternative solutions to a problem and until these alternatives are evaluated and considered, one should not be too eager to embrace that first idea.
Practicality of design.
There is a lot to be said for the adage ‘if it looks right it probably is right’. The most innovative design will fail if not designed for ease of use, maintainability and longevity. With a bespoke one off design, there is little margin for error or the luxury of a prolonged development program.
Our designers have many years of combined experience in industry and are all time served professionals with a wealth of practical knowledge gained in the workshop and production environment. We place great value on academic qualifications but these must be coupled with strong practical training and hands on experience.
